This is just a quick heads up that we have updated our popular Flappy Felipe video tutorial series to Swift!
In this video tutorial series, you’ll learn how to make a game like Flappy Bird with Swift and Sprite Kit.
But instead of just a normal bird, you have an epic pink bird, modeled after the ever-lovable Felipe Laso Marsetti from our tutorial team :]
Here’s what’s new in this update:
- Fully up-to-date: The entire series is now updated for Swift, Xcode 6.2, and iOS 8
- Shorter videos: To keep each part of the series shorter, we split the content into more parts (previously 5 parts; now 12)
- New section: We added a brand new section on Screen Size and Aspect Ratios, discussing how to get the game to work on various screen sizes
