Welcome to Season 4!Hopefully you enjoyed the WWDC 2018 Keynote and Platforms State of the Union presentations yesterday — we certainly did!

In true Apple form, the 2018 Keynote contained a lot of pomp and circumstance, while the State of the Union dug a lot deeper and contained the stuff that was most interesting to developers.

This year, we pulled together a group of experienced raywenderlich.com team members to share their thoughts about WWDC 2018:

  • Dru Freeman, podcast host
  • Jay Strawn, podcast host
  • Ray Fix, Swift Lead
  • Jake Gunderson, past podcast host
  • Andy Obusek, iOS Content Lead
  • Richard Critz, iOS Team Lead

This opinionated, chatty group sat down last night and shared their thoughts on their past WWDC experiences, the recent Apple leaks, the cautious marriage of UIKit and AppKit under Mojave, visions of the future of ARKit, the potential sunsetting of OpenGL and OpenCL, machine learning, Swift 4.2 and more.

In case you missed it, here’s the replay of the livecast from last night:
